100th Anniversary of Victory Square Banner Program

Every year, from the last Friday of October to November 11, tens of millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a visual pledge to honour Canada’s Veterans. This year, the Victory Square Cenotaph in Vancouver will turn 100 years old.

Your donation will help us support this year’s Remembrance Day ceremony at Victory Square by filling the streets of Vancouver with banners honouring the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we enjoy today.

Donation Options:

  • General donation to support the banner program (any amount)
  • $229.00 to support the banner program AND have a Veteran featured on the banner

Photos are due by July 15, 2024.

Extended – Photos are due by July 26, 2024.

Note: BC/Yukon Command cannot issue tax receipts due to our not-for-profit status. Banners will remain property of the Victory Square 100 program and will be retained by the program after Remembrance Day. Banners may be used in subsequent years at the programs discretion.
