Events at Legion Branches

This July and beyond, several Legion Branches across British Columbia and the Yukon are organizing a variety of events and projects in honour of The Royal Canadian Legion’s 100th Anniversary! Throughout the region, Legion Branches are planning community BBQs and picnics, commemorative ceremonies and parades, performances by pipe bands and local music groups, special meat draws, educational displays, family-friendly activities, and more!

Centenary Book

100th Anniversary Book

We are excited to announce a major provincial project for our commemorative year: the BC/Yukon Command 100th Anniversary Book, which will be available in both paperback and digital.

The book will be released this year, in Fall 2026.

The commemorative collection will highlight our collective history as a Command, highlighting substantial milestones and initiatives, and illustrating 100 years of service to our Veterans and commitment to the Legion’s mission. Check back for more updates!
