Check out what’s happening this spring in British Columbia and the Yukon!
April is Month of the Military Child
Military children face a unique set of challenges, including being away from one or both parents, relocations, and frequent change. This month, we recognize their strength and resiliency.

National Volunteer Week
This year, we’ll celebrate National Volunteer Week from April 27 – May 3! This year’s theme is “Volunteers Make Waves,” highlighting the power, impact, and importance of volunteer efforts across Canada. BC/Yukon Command would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our Legion volunteers who assist with Branch and community events, fundraising activities, and everything in-between. We are so grateful for your time and dedication.

BC/Yukon Command Convention
At the Command office, we’re all gearing up for our 2025 Convention, taking place from June 6-8 in Kamloops, BC. This year’s logo illustrates the two rivers of Kamloops joining together to form the Thompson River. The city’s name is the English translation of the Secwépemc word Tḱ ’emlúps, which means, “where the rivers meet.” Every other year, the Convention brings together Legion Branches and members from across British Columbia and the Yukon to connect, collaborate, and drive initiatives that support Veterans, their families, RCMP, and our communities. We hope to see you there!
